Amatrol offers two different bandwidth tests. Both tests should be performed with conditions as close as possible to those that will be experienced when running the curriculum. For example, if the curriculum will accessed during the day, when other users are using the internet, the test should be performed during the day, when other users are using the internet.

Individual Computer Bandwidth Test

This test is best suited for a computer with a dedicated internet connection. It can also be used if only one user at a time will be accessing the curriculum from your location.

Delayed Bandwidth Test

This test is best suited to simulate a classroom of users accessing the curriculum simultaneously. Perform this test simultaneously on all of the computers that will be used to access the curriculum. Note that the scheduling is done based on the internal clock of our server's computer, not your systems, so you do not need to worry about synchronizing your clocks - simply enter the same number (for minutes past the hour) at each computer, and the tests will be synchronized.
